Everyone has several crazy moments of domination last night, but I’m fairly sure the dwarf had the most.
It was a pretty good evening.
Flower Mound, TX – June 14, 2013 – FUNimation announced today that it has acquired rights to Ghost in the Shell: Arise. They plan to release a special edition subtitle-only Blu-ray containing the imported Japanese O-card, Blu-ray discs, and film strip along with an English translated art booklet. This special edition will be a limited single run printing of 2,500 units and will be on sale prior to FUNimation’s typical English language home video release. FUNimation will also be screening parts 1 & 2 of the OVA series in a limited theatrical run later this year.
Synopsis:
In this prequel set one year after the fourth World War, cyborg and hacker extraordinaire Motoko Kusanagi from the military’s 501st Secret Unit finds herself wrapped up in the investigation of a devastating bombing.

A speedy U.S. release AND an eight minute preview… reblogging all the good news…
I really like making this comic.

This looks swell.
Did you know that there is going to be a special session of the Texas Legislature tomorrow regarding banning abortions after 20 weeks?
HERE IS A SUPER EASY, POINT-BY-POINT GUIDE ON HOW ANYONE CAN TAKE A STAND.
Did you know that there were 92 pieces of anti-choice legislation enacted in 2011, and 42 in 2012?
Did you know that our reproductive rights are ACTUALLY SERIOUSLY AT STAKE EVERY DAY. Things are not getting better. Things are getting much, much worse.
Tumblr, come on, I know that you guys care about this stuff. Come on.
The Burnt Orange Report has put together an amazing list of things you can do right now. I will summarize it:
If it is at all possible for you, please attend this special session tomorrow.
DAY: Thursday, June 13th
Time: 3:45PM
Location:
1200 Congress Ave
Senate Chamber, 2E.8
Austin, TX
You can even meet up with the good folks at NARAL (the National Abortion Rights Action League) to go make some noise!
If you choose to attend, you can testify about why these rights are important to us. If you are interested in doing this, email heather@prochoicetexas.org for more information.
If it is not possible for you to meet up at that time but you would be able to make it later, you can head over later and register in opposition to these measures. Wear orange!
If you can’t make it tomorrow, you can still take the following steps:
You can sign this petition to Governor Perry in opposition to these anti-choice measures.
You can email your senator this pre-filled-out letter in opposition to these measures.
You can find your legislator here and make a call using this script (or you can ad-lib it, just say what feels right).
Things you can do either way:
Read this horrifying bill to see what is in store for Texas women.
Or, alternatively, you can read the Lilith Fund’s retweets of the worst parts.
You can read about what’s going on tomorrow
You can donate to pro-choice organizations that help Texas women like Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas or the Lilith Fund.
You can reblog this post, post on facebook, tell a friend, tell all your friends, post any of these links to facebook
The way that I see it, we can sit around complaining as our rights are stripped away from us. We can do nothing while we watch Roe v Wade get overturned. We can pretend like this isn’t our problem every day until we, or a young woman we love, is in trouble. Or we can take an action, even a tiny action, to make even a slight difference.
I am sick and tired of sitting around watching anti-choice legislators pick at my right to choose. I believe in sex education, contraception, and that women can decide what is best for themselves and their families. I believe in the integrity of Texas women and I believe in protecting their (our) rights. To all of the men and women who see this: please reach out and do something.
THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT as a woman and a Texan and a human who cares about humans. Please reblog and help signal boost, this is a helpful guide for stuff that is going on everyday that directly affects you and people you know.
Having survived in Kansas and Nevada, the importance of signal boosts during these moments of scary intrusion is too much a part of day to day life… and it will continue to be so unless people speak up.
As suggested in the original post, you can make a very large impact by doing something as simple as emailing your senator using a pre-prepped letter— write your representatives, and write them often.
I AM WILL, WHAT’S UP ↑

THUNDERPAW
CH02: PINEMEADE HEIGHTS
PAGE 10A new small page is up. I like this panel it looks like Ollie’s doing a Lucky Cat.
Good evening nightmen!
There are a lot of comics with motion that refer to themselves as “motion comics”, but I would like to submit that Thunderpaw is one of the few comics that really, REALLY moves— in different ways, shapes, and sizes.
If I were to make a crude elevator pitch of the work’s story, I would say it is “Homeward Bound by way of Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas” and if that doesn’t interest you then you are a bad dog— no biscuit.
The story begins here.
